Eugenia de Montijo, Autograph Collection

The Hotel Eugenia de Montijo Autograph Collection was built in the Renaissance Palace where the Empress Eugenia de Montijo lived. This emblematic building, located in the historic centre of the city, pays homage to this historical figure. Designed like the classic hotels of the early 20th century, with a stained glass dome in the main hall and marble mosaic floors, it was completely renovated in May 2018, combining traditional and modern elements. The hotel also preserves remains of other moments in the history of the city such as the three polychrome alfarjes in noble areas and part of the walls of Visigothic buildings and remains of the sewage system that was built in Roman times inside the Spa.

In the main hall, the heart of the hotel, there is a large Bar crowned by a portrait of the Empress. In what used to be the Torreón of the Palace is the Restaurant Federico, named after the Empress's designer, where you can enjoy local food based on the quality of the produce.
