Idyllic and quietly situated partly wooded island in the Po Delta with a length of 5km and a width of 1.5 km and accessible via a dike road from the mainland.
Albarella is a true natural paradise. Many animals, including sea birds such as the famous pink flamingo, but also fallow deer, hares, pheasants and squirrels, live here side by side in complete harmony with man.
In total, there are more than 300 accommodation options (terraced houses, houses with garden, houses with private pool).
The island has a total of 80 km of paved roads and 10 km of cycling and hiking trails. On the island the use of bicycle and electric golfmobile instead of car is favored.
The access by car is limited and allowed only up to the booked residence.
Part of the island is covered with private villas and 2 hotels; there is a marina, restaurants, supermarket, bars, stores, sports and entertainment center, aquapark, outdoor pools, children's playgrounds; walking/fitness and cycling paths, riding school and much more.
The aquapark "Albarella Splash" and the outdoor pool complex in the "Centro sportivo" are free of charge for the guests, as well as some sports and entertainment programs (exact info about the included services can be obtained on site).
Car traffic is limited: The main means of transport is the bicycle. An island train is offered intermittently without charge (from cca. mid-April to the end of September)
On the east coast there is a wide, shallowly sloping sandy beach about 2.5 km long
Other beaches: "CENTRO SPORTIVO-,CAPO NORD- & HUNDESTRAND": sand, fine sand, shallow sloping, beach length: approx. 3 km. Sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach available on site for a fee.

Pets must be declared at the moment of booking before arrival date:
A Monge welcome kit is provided in your accomodation.
One small or medium sized pet is allowed at an extra cost of € 70.00 per week per pet per S3 and S3M (or € 10.00 per day)
and € 140.00 per week per V4C and V3, to be paid on arrival.
